Which Areas Should Be Tested?
If you've noticed mold growth, water damage, or musty smells, those areas should be tested. However, mold spreads easily, often beyond the visible spots.
We may suggest additional testing if: A water leak occurred nearby. Mold is growing on walls, ceilings, or vents. You experience persistent health issues, such as allergies or respiratory problems.
How Long Does Testing Take?
A standard mold test takes about an hour. Each additional sample collection takes 5 minutes.
Types of Mold Tests
We offer three primary testing methods to accurately assess mold presence:
1. Air Sampling – Captures airborne mold spores using a Micro 5 cassette for lab analysis.
2. Surface Sampling – Uses a sterile swab to collect mold from visible growth areas.
3. Material Sampling – Removes a small sample (drywall, carpet, clothing) for lab testing.
